Our story & the coffee
A small roastery with a green door
Maple & Bloom started in 2019 when two neighbours — one a baker, one a coffee nerd — took over a tired old print shop on Carshare Lane and filled it with plants, secondhand chairs and the smell of roasting beans.
We roast in small batches on a 5kg roaster you can see from the counter. Our Bloom House blend is the everyday cup; alongside it we run a rotating single-origin bought traceable and relationship-sourced through a Bristol importer — we like to know where the beans come from. The current single-origin changes through the year; ask at the counter what's in the hopper today.
What makes us different is honestly just this: we want you to feel at home. Speciality coffee, none of the snobbery. We'll happily make you a "normal coffee" and we'll happily geek out if you want to.
